1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website at https://evelynalessandri.com, purchasing products, or engaging in any coaching, workshop, or retreat services offered by Evelyn Alessandri Soul Coach (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website or engage our services.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the website or our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Coaching Services
2.1 Nature of Coaching
Evelyn Alessandri Soul Coach provides soul coaching services for personal development and growth purposes only. Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process and is NOT a substitute for, nor equivalent to:
- Professional psychotherapy or counselling
- Medical treatment or psychiatric care
- Legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, emotional trauma, or any medical condition, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a qualified and licensed professional.
2.2 Client Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for your own choices, decisions, and outcomes resulting from coaching sessions.
- Coaching results are not guaranteed and vary from person to person.
- You will communicate openly and honestly to make the most of your sessions.
- You are voluntarily engaging in coaching and take full responsibility for any actions you choose to take as a result.
2.3 Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Information shared during coaching sessions will be treated with confidentiality. However, confidentiality has limits: we may be required to disclose information if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law.
2.4 Session Conduct & Termination
We reserve the right to decline or terminate a coaching engagement at any time if we determine that it is not in the best interest of either party, or if a client behaves in a disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate manner. In such cases, a pro-rata refund may be considered at our discretion.
3. Workshops & Retreats
3.1 Bookings & Payment
All workshop and retreat bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a deposit as specified at the time of booking. Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Cancellation & Refund Policy
The following cancellation terms apply to workshops and retreats:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event: full refund or credit towards a future event.
- Cancellations made 14–30 days before the event: 50% refund or full credit towards a future event.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event: no refund. A credit may be offered at our discretion.
- Transfers to another participant are permitted with prior written approval.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a workshop or retreat due to insufficient enrolments, facilitator illness, or circumstances beyond our control (including force majeure). In such cases, a full refund or credit will be offered.
3.3 Participant Health & Safety
By attending a workshop or retreat, you confirm that you are in a suitable physical and mental state to participate. You agree to inform us prior to booking of any health conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or other needs that may affect your participation. Evelyn Alessandri Soul Coach is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in any workshop or retreat.
3.4 Photography & Media
We may take photographs or videos at workshops and retreats for use in our marketing materials. By attending, you consent to your image being used in this way. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the event.
4. Shop & Products
4.1 Product Descriptions
We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including the Gratitude Journal, Positivity Cards, and Affirmation Cards. However, colours, designs, and specifications may vary slightly from what is displayed on screen due to printing and photographic limitations.
4.2 Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.
4.3 Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders within 5–7 business days. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services. Delivery costs will be communicated at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon dispatch.
4.4 Returns & Refunds
If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence, and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Due to the nature of our products (inspirational and personal use items), we do not accept returns for change of mind. Digital or downloadable products are non-refundable once accessed.
4.5 Inspirational Purpose
Our products, including the Gratitude Journal, Positivity Cards, and Affirmation Cards, are designed for inspirational and personal development purposes only. They are not intended to replace professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.
5. Intellectual Property & Use Licence
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, course materials, card designs, journal content, and other materials, is the intellectual property of Evelyn Alessandri Soul Coach and is protected by South African and international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided copyright notices are retained.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
All services and materials are provided on an ‘as is’ basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Evelyn Alessandri Soul Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website, our coaching services, products, workshops, or retreats, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service or product.
8. Testimonials & Client Content
Any testimonials or reviews shared with us may be used in our marketing materials, website, or social media, unless you expressly request otherwise in writing. We will not share your full name without your consent.
