Tapping out your

cortices

step 1

Place one hand, with fingers together, at the base of your neck, making sure your hand is in the middle at your spine. While holding this position, tap with your other hand (fingers loose) across the top of your head, at your heart (sternum) and finally at your gut (just below your belly button/navel). Take a breath while you are tapping at each place. Focus on balancing the left and right side of the brain.

Now move your hand up by one hand width at a time, until you cover the whole midline of your head from the base of your spine to just above your eyebrows. For each hand position, don’t forget to keep your fingers and thumb together. Continue to tap with the other hand on your head, heart and gut, taking a nice deep breath at each place.

Once you have covered the whole midline of your head, place both hands on the side of your head, above the ears. Take one deep breath. Now lower the one hand which you will use to do the tapping. Tap on the top of your head, heart and gut. Then put the hand back above your ear and drop the other hand to tap on your head, heart and sternum

This is a great technique if you are stressed, foggy brained, battling to sleep, nervous or anxious. It helps to calm the nervous system. Use it regularly to feel fabulous
